What a wet place I ended up in now!
A huge river called the Nile runs through Egypt, and I am probably standing in shallow water close to its banks.
A dangerous-looking crocodile is gaping at me with its mouth full of razor-sharp teeth!
I hope it isn’t hungry and will soon move along to deeper waters.
My father has told me that, while clumsy on the ground, the crododile moves lithely and swiftly in the water. Luckily, the water is very shallow here.
I am a little scared, through!
Maybe I should hurry up and stride forward as these wet boots feel uncomfortable.
