ClearVision

ClearVision is a postal lending library with a collection of especially-made tactile books in a variety of formats, including fabric books, books with simple thermoforms of everyday objects, collage books and books with raised line illustrations. These are only available for loan to schools and other educational establishments.

ClearVision also lends out mainstream books, including novelty books, with added braille or Moon text to families, schools, libraries and anyone else who needs them.

Living Paintings Trust

The Living Paintings Trust aims to introduce visually impaired children to art through its Feel Happy packs.

These consist of a brailled children’s picture book, one or more thermoformed tactile versions of the print illustrations, and an accompanying tape which describes all the pictures in the book.

LPT also lends out resource packs of thermoformed illustrations to support leisure and educational topics, and packs to introduce children to tactile representations of art.

The service is free.
